I’m Cara Edden & I’m a qualified mountain leader and BA Hons of Fashion Design & Technology: Womenswear from the London College of Fashion.

My website shares both my passion of hiking and guiding as well as sewing and creating handmade to order fashion pieces - so please feel free to have a nosey between both areas or the menu will enable you to select which side of the website you’re after!

I love spending my free time getting some fresh air in the hills and mountains, whether it's in Snowdonia, The Peak District, The Lake District or even Scotland! The feeling of challenging yourself and going on a journey to accomplish your goals is always one of highs and lows but it is always worth it in the end! I’m a strong believer too that the outdoors is one of the best places to clear your mind when it gets chaotic! I’ve thru hiked several trails including the West Highland Way & Skye Trail, now my current challenge is climbing all of the Welsh Nuttals (189 in total!). Whether it’s navigating boggy patches or huffing and puffing up steep inclines, the summit is always worth it! My current total stands at 152 summits.

The other half of my time is spent at the sewing machine. I’ve displayed a collection at London Fashion Week in collaboration with The Powerpuff Girls & Cartoon Network; then since my degree I’ve also freelanced for several fashion companies, created bespoke made to measure pieces such as prom dresses and mother of the groom gowns, as well as made to order pieces from the collections on my website. I love being able to make my pieces to order rather than holding stock as it cuts out any waste and allows me to tailor the size specifically to you! This means I never have to dispose of extra unwanted pieces which is way better for the environment and gives me time to get creative. Everything I make is made in my little home studio/bedroom in the midlands!
